Advertising on the BCSLS web site
BCSLS is a professional association for Medical Laboratory Technologists, Medical Laboratory Assistants and other laboratory staff working in public and private medical laboratories throughout British Columbia, Canada. There are more than 4,000 provincial laboratory professionals that BCSLS communicates with through this website, and its related online newsletter and webcasts. We also promote our website at all of our professional seminars and conferences and via fax/email broadcasts.
Our web site is used by medical laboratory professionals in BC and elsewhere for information about and access to job opportunities, continuing education and peer support to achieve excellence in their careers. In future we will be enhancing our website to include interactive user forums, and other member services.
The site is also a significant resource for those wanting to know more about the important role of medical lab professionals in health care, for students considering a career in this field, for educators and the general public.
Placement, sizes and rates for web advertising
We accept advertising on most pages of our web site, including the home page.
Ads are accepted in the standard sizes listed below. Variations in the depth of ads are permitted and will be charged for on a pro-rata basis. Ad widths are restricted to the sizes shown. We reserve the right to refuse or to edit an ad for any reason, including content, annoying effects or excessive file size.
You can provide us with web-ready art with an optional web link for clickthroughs, or you can have us create your ad from the information you provide (design quotes will be provided). Art must be provided to size as a static or animated .GIF, .JPG or .PNG file or as a flash movie. If a Flash movie is submitted, please supply a .FLA file with any special fonts included or with text converted to outlines.
