student contest:

This year BCSLS is hosting a student contest offering one MLT student and one MLA student the opportunity to attend the 2018 Congress in Sidney BC.

The two winners will receive a pass to attend the full congress and $300 in cash (given in person at Congress) that can be put towards transportation, food and or accommodation.

  • Students can enter by electronically submitting an essay, poster or video on the topic: "What does Appreciative Inquiry Mean to You". 

  • Submissions can be sent to Debbie.Bonderud@viha.ca

  • by Monday October 1st as outlined the attached document.

  • We will be taking into consideration quality of the entry, accuracy of information and creativeness of presentation.

    • Essay: approx. 300-500 words.

    • Video: no longer than 5 mins.

    • Poster: standard poster board size.
