BCSLS welcomes proposals from accredited post-secondary institutions interested in launching a Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) program in British Columbia. This page outlines eligibility, submission requirements, review timelines, and resources to support your application.
Public and private colleges must apply for approval before being added to our list of approved programs.
- Register for the application process. $3000 application fee (non-refundable) PER LOCATION.
- After you have registered, you will receive a confirmation letter from BCSLS which will include all of the forms that you need to fill out and send it back to bcsls@bcsls.net
- Your information needs to be submitted all together in one email.
- Once your submission is received, in full, the initial review process will take place
- The review committee may need you to revise or submit more information.
- Upon approval of application, a site visit will be arranged.
